The Basalt comes with smaller 16-inch wheels, unlike the C3 Aircross with 17-inch wheels, and has a ground clearance that is 20mm lower at 180mm.

The issues that were missing in the C3 Aircross have been fixed in the Basalt. The best part is that these improvements have been added back to the C3 Aircross as well. Now, features like LED projector headlamps, automatic AC, power mirror controls, moving the power window buttons to the doors, a front sliding center armrest, and rear AC vents on the floor are now also offered in the C3 Aircross.

The Basalt model comes with some unique features. These include a wireless charger, adjustable thigh support in the back seats, and contoured headrests for rear passengers. In addition, Basalt’s dashboard has been upgraded with soft-touch materials. The C3 Aircross model has an added roof-mounted AC vent for the 7-seater versions.
